the intention was for this to become a little bag but i doubt that I’ll do that now as I love it so much flat
the coloured fabrics are cotton or cotton/linen blends & I’ve used undyed calico fabric as the base cloth
the colours are botanical dyes from bay leaves, kawakawa, & harakeke - a couple went in paru
the threads are cotton which has also been dyed with botanicals, mostly harakeke +/-paru
i started the stitching last week
the fabrics were dyed in 2018 & the threads in 2018 & 2019
she’s a slow process indeed !
